Everything you need in an ultra-feminine top… millennial pink, ruffles, polka dots and sheer.
Let’s face it, though millennial pink is gradually losing its spot as the ‘it’ colour in the fashion scene, that doesn’t mean you can’t rock them. I mean, just look at this pretty pink top from H&M. The ruffle detailing along the front and sleeve cuffs adds a wispy and graceful flair. As I’ve mentioned in one of my previous post, polka dots is a trend that should not be missed. If you feel white-on-black or navy-on-white dots are too conventional, there’s always coloured ones, like this one in pink. It’s such a fresh and fun take on this ever-growing trend. Also, how can I call myself The Sheer Statement without having sheer clothings. The sheer fabric gives a flirty vibe to the overall look. Pair it with a cute bra if you’re feeling daring. Or, you could always wear a basic cami of matching colour underneath for more coverage.
This ultra-feminine top is juxtaposed against a denim skirt to tone down the girlishness. This black skirt with fray edge exudes an edgy grunge aesthetic. The pink-on-black dotted sneakers makes for a perfect finish to the whole ensemble.
