TSS Beauty Faves is a series that showcases beauty products that I’m currently loving, be it skincare, hair care or personal care. In the first of its series, we have a dry shampoo, make-up remover and a mask (in no particular order). Let’s get right into it!

Handmade Heroes Drop Dead Gorgeous Dry Shampoo

Having naturally curly hair, it is impractical to wash it every day, otherwise it becomes too drying, especially the ends. In between washes, I like using dry shampoo to refresh my roots while still retaining the natural oils in the ends. However, I’ve never found the perfect one, until very recently, when I discovered this bottle of ‘fairy dust’ (it works like magic!) from Handmade Heroes. True to its name, this dry shampoo could transform greasy, limp hair into drop dead gorgeous locks in just a few minutes. Not only does it absorb oil and odour effectively, it also fluffs up the roots instantly.

The one I purchased is the ‘Wanderlust’ variation, which is specifically for brunettes. It blends perfectly into my scalp and does not leave any unsightly white residue. It also comes in the ‘Sun Seeker’ variation for light-coloured hair. This standard-sized bottle is suitable for travelling or to take it with you on the go. Say you need a quick refresher after a sweaty gym session. To top it off, it’s all natural, vegan and cruelty free. Do note that this product is fragrant, though it’s not noticeable once applied to the hair.

PUREDERM Argan Oil Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes

I decided to try out these make-up remover after watching a mini review by beauty blogger @penmyblog. As her recommendation suggests, these cleansing towelettes are really worth the hype. First of all, it is very affordable. The towlettes are super soft and glides gently against the skin. It leaves my skin clean, fresh and moisturised after each wipe that I don’t even have to wash my face after. What I love the most about them is that they are gentle on the eyes. As I have sensitive eyes, certain make-up removers tend to irritate my eyes. But, this make-up remover from PUREDERM is surprisingly not irritating at all. They do have tea tree and charcoal variations, which I would definitely try out some day.

Thalgo La Beaute Marine Absolute Purifying Mask

I mean, who doesn’t love indulging in face mask? I know I do. One that I’m obsessed with recently is the Absolute Purifying Mask from Thalgo. The first thought that cross my mind is its cooling sensation right upon application. After all, it is a beauty brand with marine-based products. All you need is 10 minutes. My skin was noticeably less oily and instantly became brighter. It’s perfect for combination to oily skin.
