Statement sleeves have been trending for a while now, be it bell sleeves, balloon sleeves, tiered sleeves, and with the latest being puff sleeves. With a variety of designs out in the market, a statement sleeve top or dress, though seem dramatic, is a great way to update your style. It could take an everyday outfit and bring it to the next level.
What I’m wearing here is a statement sleeve top in burnt orange from Voir Executive. The key to styling a statement sleeve top is pairing it with a more fitted silhouette since the top is voluminous. Say a straight leg pants or a pencil skirt. I decided to go with a distressed denim jeans from Something Borrowed, which gives an edgy vibe to the overall look.
As the top is in burnt orange colour and stands out by itself, I kept everything else simple by sticking to the colour black. I went with a black quilted satchel bag by Valentino Creation and the studded caged sandal heels from Something Borrowed.
Of course I had to put on some jewellery to complete the look. I picked gold-coloured jewellery to complement the gold details of the bag and heels. Here, I wore a simple stud earrings, a long necklace with pearl, and some bangles and rings, all from Lovisa.
